Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Review

I recently purchased the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar at Sephora as you may have seen in my recent Sephora Haul Post

The Semi Sweet Chocolate bar is the 2nd edition of the Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palettes from Too faced. And although I’ve never tried the first Chocolate bar palette  I was quite intrigued and curious about the Semi Sweet 2nd version.  What caught my attention was the  super cute packaging, a tin can palette in the shape of a chocolate bar, with an array of 16 beautiful neutral eyeshadows and a great sized mirror. To top it all off,  the shadows were made (and smells) of real cocoa powder!

Many of you requested that I do a review on this palette so I uploaded this First Impression Review of it on my ItsJudyTime Channel!

To begin, I used Frosted on my lid. On the crease I applied Peanut Butter in a windshield wiping motion. Under my brow, I swept Coconut Cream for a highlight and added a mix of Peanut butter &  mouse on my crease.

To line my eyes  I used L’Oreal 24 hour Super Slim Liner  and  applied Stardel false lashes. For foundation, I used Foundation is YSL Honey B50 and on my brows I used Wet n Wild eye brow kit . To complete my look, I applied Spice lipliner and Maybelline Matte Daringly Nude 655 on my lips & Contoured and Highlighted my face with Anastasia of Beverly Hills Contour Palette.

Overall, I the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar  shadows stayed on well. The colors I used were richly pigmented and smooth when applied, and I just loved them. The one color in the palette that isn’t very pigmented though is Pink Sugar, which is more of a color that you would layer on top of another one. All in all, I really like this palette and I think if you were debating on whether to get this palette you should give it a try, especially if you like warm, neutral browns and bronze eyeshadows!
