In today’s post I’m doing a First Impression Review on Milani’s Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 foundation. This was a highly requested video from all of you so I hope you find this post helpful!

In the Milani Conceal & Perfect 2 in 1 foundation I wasn’t sure what color I would be so I picked up the colors Medium Beige and Sand Beige. It comes with the typical 1 fluid oz amount of product as well as a very precise pump.  It claims to be a full coverage & water resistant foundation so I was hoping it would conceal some of the redness around my cheeks, nose and pimple scars.

As soon as I pumped the product onto my hand I noticed the thick consistency & the sweet Shea butter like scent.

After the first layer on one side of my face, I noticed that it concealed my blemishes and redness pretty well. I ended up using 2 layers of foundation and I found that it was an easily build able foundation. After I applied it, I noticed that it made my skin look blurred with a natural finish. It wasn’t matte but it wasn’t too dewy either.

I finished up the rest of my face which gave the foundation about 5 mins to settle. After that time it was still sticky and I knew I definitely needed a setting powder.

I took a flash photo before applying the powder and I looked very ghostly

But after setting it with a translucent powder, it looked much better.

A few hours later, I checked back in and I noticed that I looked very shiny around my forehead and cheeks and my zit is peaking through my makeup. Other than that the foundation looked great and my blush and contour stayed in place. This was after giving the girls a bath where they were touching my face and splashing water.

After my first check in I touched up my shine with the Mally Beauty Powerless Face Defender.

At my last check in at the end of the night, my makeup looked basically the same. Here are my finally pros & cons:

PROS:

The pacakging is awesome. It’s a clear container so you can see the exact color you’re getting ( it does oxidize slightly so keep that in mind.)

It has a very precise pump

The application is great and it has aweomse coverage  that lasts all day with powder touch ups

CONS:

It’s not best for oily skin, but touching up will help it last longer.

It’s not flash friendly without setting powder.

Overall, it’s not the best foundation for my oily combination skin but it would probably work best with someone with a more normal to dry skin type.
