To say I was surprised can’t even fully describe the epic night that Benji planned for me. As you might have seen in yesterdays Vlog HERE or in the teaser video HERE , I was definitely moved to tears to see the beautiful location and all of the love put into this special  night. I had no idea that Benji had been planning this over the past year. Even after finding the first note and outfit he left for me, I still had no clue of the extent of what I would be walking into.

This entire time he has been working with the amazing people at Lights For All Occasions to help him decorate the beautiful location. Benji revealed to me that he and Sarah from Lights For all Occasions even filmed a couple of videos to share the entire process of setting up this event. Everything from choosing the color theme, creating the centerpieces for our dinner and even how to create and assemble the romantic lanterns leading up to the venue. The romantic lighting really made an impact on me as I walked through the venue. I think that it’s perfect for any special date night, anniversary and especially for weddings.  Find everything they used for our date on their website LightsForAllOccasions.Com!

The Hurricane Light DIY video was my favorite because it gave me a chance to see Benji in action, putting together some of the lights for our date night! =) Plus, I just love how romantic and whimsical the fairy lights are that they used in this tutorial! It looks even more delicate and breathtaking in person!

They used these beautiful Fairy Lights that added such a whimsical feel.

 Next, they placed them inside of these classic Black lantern‘s hiding the battery pack at the top.

Once the  Fairy Lights are in place, you simply latch the door!

They hung the lanterns on these Shepard Hook Wreath Hangers  that lined the walkway, leading me throughout the tent. 

No matter how many times Benji has surprised me in the past, it still makes my heart skip a beat. I’m so thankful for such a sweetie bear, best friend , husband and father to our girls.

My heart is truly filled. <3
