TOO FACED Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick First Impression Review
TOO FACED Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick First Impression Review
During my last visit to Sephora I picked up the new Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks, per your request on Twitter! There were about 10 colors to choose from but I decided to pick up Melted Berry & Melted Fig

For this review, I decided to try out Melted Fig first. It retails at Sephora for $21. On the Sephora website they describe this lipstick to be an “intensity saturated lip color with a precise tip applicator. with a shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain, pigment packed color of a liquid lipstick.”
My initial thoughts on the packaging is that I like that is a squeeze tube because I always feel like you can get most of the product out of packaging like this, leaving none to waste!
When I first opened it up and began to squeeze the product out, I was afraid to apply too much pressure in fear of the lipstick squirting everywhere. But I was pleasantly surprised when it didn’t . It came out with a steady flow even with more and more pressure I applied. So I really liked the applicator they used for this.
When I applied the lipstick I was steadily pushing out product little by little and I found that to work best.
After I applied it to my lips, I thought it looked gorgeous and I loved how it applied so easily! It felt lightweight, and more like a non sticky lip gloss! It was very soft on the lips and had an opaque color payoff.
Checking my lips 3 hours later, I noticed the lip stick was mostly there. It looked more like a stain and not glossy.
My lips still felt soft and like my regular lips. It didn’t feel like a lipstick or gloss was on my lips at all.
It was surprising to see that there was still a stain there even through eating lunch and drinking water throughout the day.
10 hours later, the color was mostly stuck in the outline of my lips sort of like lip liner. There was a slight stain, but not as much as I thought there would be. I noticed that my lips were not dried out at all, even at the end of the day.
I applied the other color I purchased- Melted Berry. I loved the color of this as well, especially the look of it after patting off some of the gloss which gave it a more matte finish.
I can see myself buying more colors of the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick because it is light weight, it has great consistency and color pay off. Although it won’t last all day, and I’d have to reapply , I loved that it left a slight stain that didn’t look strange and it didn’t dry out my lips.
Have you ever tried out the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick before? If so let me know your thoughts in the comments and what you’d like me to review next!
