This review is on the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation was highly requested on ItsJudyTime. I purchased this at Sephora for around $40 and picked up the color Warm Beige.
The Born This Way Foundation claims to blur imperfections and provide natural coverage.
I noticed that this foundation has a thicker consistency. It not only conceal my breakouts and redness but it looked and felt so natural.
On the left is one application of the Born This Way Foundation. On the right is my bare face with no makeup.
After applying the foundation to the rest of my face, I decided not to use a setting powder or spray and it set great on it’s own.
I couldn’t forget to do a flash photo test and was really excited to see that it looked awesome.
After a few hours, I checked to see how the foundation was holding up and I noticed that it oxidized a little. But other than it oxidizing, the coverage still held up.
A little bit later in the evening though, I began to get a little oily and my blemishes started to pop thru.
After a full day of wearing the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation here are my pro’s & con’s:
PROS:
-The packaging is awesome because of the pump making it easier to dispense.
-I appreciate that its unscented.
-The natural & flawless finish was beautiful.
– Overall it had great coverage.
– The consistency was thick but it was not sticky.
-It is flash friendly!
CONS:
– This was not long lasting foundation.
TIP: I would use a setting powder & make sure to blot throughout the day to help it last longer.
