Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor Review
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor Review
I found the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors at Target and I was excited to find another matte lip color so I decided to give it a try. First off the Revlon Matte Lip Color claims to be a lightweight high definition lip color which I was interested in finding out if it really was.
Keep scrolling to find out how it worked for me.
I picked up 3 colors but the color I chose to use addiction (far left) for the review.
Seduction, Devotion and Addiction were the three colors I picked up.
After watching the colors, I could see that each differed as far as consistency the lighter one was more streaky and Addiction (the darker one) when I applied it was not.
This is how it looked like at 10 am upon first application.
Around 3pm, this is what it looked like (pictured above.) There was slight feathering as you can see on my upper lip. Also, something to note is that for a good 45 minutes to an hour, it still had a gloss consistency and eventually became matte.
When I kissed my husband it did transfer a bit but for the most part held up. I’m impressed that I’ve worn it for 5 hours and after eating a greasy lunch it was still on my lips. Overall, my lips feel comfortable, it was not drying, it was light weight but the color did fade.
I decided to clean it up and reapply it before my next check in. One tip is to make sure to remove the lipstick in the middle of your lips after applying, because this is a lipstick that will get on your teeth.
At my end of the night at 8pm, I did a final check in after wearing it through my workout and the color is still very visible with a little feathering.
CONS:
This gloss will feather unless used with a lip liner.
Not all of the colors have the same constancy. Some are more streaky than others.
PROS:
The clear packaging is great. You can see exactly what color you’re getting and the color is true to what you see through the packaging.
The gloss has a sweet scent and doesn’t linger all day.
It is non-drying, non-flaking and pretty much food proof because didn’t rub off after I ate and drank throughout the day.
The price point is under $10 and I think its worth it for a gloss like this.
I would repurchase the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors because it literally lasts all day!
A few days later, I tried the nude lip color, and it quickly became my favorite everyday nude.
This time around, I lined my lips with this Boutique lipliner in Natural and it doesn’t feather at all.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. Let me know if you’ve tried this lip color for yourself and how it worked for you!
