Revlon Photo-Ready Foundation First Impression Review
Revlon Photo-Ready Foundation First Impression Review
In this First Impression Review, I tested out the newest version of Revlon’s Photo Ready Foundation. They came out with the original Photo Ready Foundation several years ago and I did a review on that one (Watch it HERE). This foundation claims to look flawless and airbrushed in any light. It retails for around $15, comes with a pump and about 1 fl oz.

I used the shade 04Nude in this review. After applying it to my hand I can tell that it’s a thicker liquid compared to the previous formula.
I applied it with a brush and let it set for about 2 minutes on one side f my face. When I compared it to the left side of my face, my skin looked natural and it didn’t feel heavy at all.
But what was very noticable was the glitter, which I was a bit hesitant about.
I decided to apply an extra layer of foundation around my blemishes to conceal them more. Since one layer was about medium coverage and 2 layers was more of a medium to full coverage finish.
I let the foundation set for about 10 minutes when I was completely finished applying the Photo Ready foundation I applied a light setting powder. After taking a closer look at my face I felt like I looked like Edward Cullen from Twilight. And although I didn’t like that, I did like the coverage the foundation gave me and how easy it was to apply and blend.
I took a flash photo and I have to say it looked really good. I looked fresh and awake and the little glitter doesn’t seem to make me look like a disco ball in flash, much to my surprise.
I checked how it was holding up midday in natural light. From far away, my face looked flawless and glowy. The only downside is that when you take a closer look you can see all of the glitter, which really throws me off. It’s sort of bitter sweet that this foundation looks great in photos, but not so much in person.
At the end of the night, the glitter was even more noticeable than before. I also noticed my redness and blemishes peeking through. But overall the foundation stayed in place. My T-zone was not too oily and my blush and contour was still in tact. I would say that it held up pretty well.
Aside from the glitter, I would have really loved the Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush foundation. It held up pretty well throughout the day , it applied easily ,had great coverage and looked awesome in photos.
