This month my beauty favorites of January 2014 consists mainly of new products I’ve been trying out. I’ve been testing a bunch of new things this month as you might have seen in my previous first impressions, reviews or swatches videos. So many of these may be familiar to you if you’ve been watching my recent uploads.
I’ve got a good mix of different beauty products in this particular favorites video everything from lips, foundation, eye shadows that I’ve listed down below.
The first lip product is this Fergie Wet and Wild lipstick in “Bebot Love”. It’s creamy, moisturizing, and has a beautiful shine to it. It’s also so pigmented even from one swatch you get great color pay off.
The next lip product is from the Maybelline The Buffs Collection as you’ve seen in my review of the collection here. My favorite color out of the whole line is Stormy Sahara. It is a nude-ish peach color which matches well with bronze eyes, a pair I’ve been loving lately. And what I really like about it is that it’s creamy moisturizing and pigmented, all three things a lipstick should be!

Another Maybelline product that made my favorites this month is theirColor Sensational Elixir in Mauve Mystique #025. The packaging is so cute and I love the doe foot sponge brush. The shape of the brush makes application so easy and color pay off is amazing! It’s a very creamy lip gloss with
The last two lip products that made the list I found at Bath and body works. They are by Co Biglow. The first is a Lip tint and I got it in the color “Plum Mint.”
After applying this tint my mouth feels clean and has gorgeous gloss. And since theres a hint of mint the menthol gives off a invigorating tingle! Just like the other lip products I mentioned this too is very moisturizing. The second is the Co Biglow “My Favorite Night Balm” and I think the name perfectly describes how I feel about it!

Now on to the face favorites. How can I not mention Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Concealer? As you can tell from the amount left in the bottle, I’ve used it a lot. Not only do I use it under my eyes but I like to apply it on areas I need more coverage. For instance I will dab it around my nose, under my eye and over any blemishes I may have that day. I like to sometimes wear it on it’s own for those days I’m in a rush or if I don’t want to wear much makeup. TIP: Use the concealer as a base on your eyes and it works as an eye primer.
When I first tried picked up the NEW Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation I was skeptical. As you may have seen, I did a First Impressions Review in 2012 on the firstSepohra Airbrush Foundation. And that was it was a very different experience, watch it here to see it.This time around it was a completely different experience. To give you an idea, it’s comparable to the high end Dior Spray Foundation. This is an ammmmazzing foundation! Plus it’s more than half the price of the Dior Foundation. What I like is that it looks great in photos and gives a flawless finish! I highly recommend this foundation, but if you want to see my full review of the NEW Sephora Airbrush Foundation you can find it here.
Another new foundation I’ve been using a lot lately is Physicians Formula Spotless Foundation. It makes me look awake and bright whenever I wear it. So I’ve been gravitating towards this for everyday wear.
For bronzer the Physicians formula Beauty Balm made it to my favorites for this month. When applied it looks very natural and is comparable to the other bronzer from Phsycains formula. But the one obvious difference is that this BB version has a pink center. With that said I haven’t noticed any significant difference of having the pink center. It lightly contours and adds life & color to my face with a smooth application! I recently used it in my “Sweet and Sexy Valentine’s Day makeup tutorial” if you’d like to see how it applies on my face you can see it in that video.
Now let’s talk face powder. My current favorite is L’Oreal’s True Match Mineral Powder. I like to use this as a setting powder. I also have a review for this one on my channel if you want a full review of this. I like to use it for touch ups and I found that it’s good for several hours of wear. Tip: This powder works the best when applied using a sponge. (L’Oreal’s True Match Mineral Powder “Buff Beige“)
Lastly, I couldn’t do a favorites without adding a pallet I haven’t stopped using since I’ve had it.
It’s my “It’s Judy Time Palette.” I choose to add neutrals so you can easily do everyday looks with it. But there are also a few fun colors for other occasions ranging from bronze, to purples & blues. And right now it’s sale for only $14.95, a steal in my opinion for the quality that you’re getting.
Plus, I’m so excited to say that they are now back in stock & not limited to one per person anymore. But it’s only available for a limited time.
