Rimmel Provocalips 16 Hour Lip Color Review
I recently purchased the Rimmel Provocalips 16 hour Lip Color. On the website they claim that it is “Kiss proof , transfer proof, food proof, high impact endless color. No tight feeling or dry lips. Lips feel smooth and moisturized all day long.”
In the Rimmel Provocalips lip color collection there are 8 colors. I picked up 6 of the 8 Rimmel Provovalips colors at my local drugstore and they retail around $7 each.
Here are the Rimmel Provocalips colors I picked up:
I’ll call you/Little Minx /Make Your Move/Heartbreaker/Play with fire/Kiss Fatal
In this review, I decided to try on Heart Breaker. The first thing I noticed when I opened the product was that It’s quite runny. It is also unscented and comes with a Doe foot applicator sponge on both ends.
TIP: Take caution when opening the product in a hurry, as it might drip.
After 1 minute from applying the 1st layer, I applied the 2nd layer of the Provocalips lip color.
I kissed the back of my hand and noticed there was no transfer. Once the 2nd layer was dry I then applied the top coat. I did the kiss test again and found no transfer of color.
3 hours had passed and I did a kiss test on my daughters Miya and Keira and it was quite a success, with no transfer on their skin! The color did not budge at all after several hours and still looks the same. Although the clear gloss was no longer there ,the lip color stayed in tact and my lips still felt moisturized .
At the end of the night, and even after an oily,sauce based dish I had for dinner, the Provocalips color did not transfer. My lips were still moisturized, even after just 1 application of the clear topcoat earlier in the day.
