When I saw the Wet n Wild Cosmetics Fergie Shimmer Palettes, the first thing that came to mind were M.A.C.’s Mineralized Skinfinish powders. Since the Wet n Wild Shimmer Palettes are much more affordable retailing at $6 and much larger, I wanted to give them a try.
The 3 colors I tried are: Rose Champagne Glow– great as a highlight. Rose Golden Goddess -resembles my M.A.C. Mineralized Skinfinish in the packaging, but is a bit more orange. And Carnival In Rio – that initially looked too dark for me, but after applying, it looked very pretty.
After wearing Rose Champagne Glow & Carnival In Rio for a full day. I am happy with the application and lasting power of these powders. I like the glow that it gives off and the colors are perfect for my skin tone. The Rose Champagne Glow & Carnival In Rio are my favorites. After applying Rose Golden Goddess, I think it looks nice as well. I love the amount of product that you get and I think its comparable to M.A.C. but the packaging isn’t the best and isn’t ideal for travel.
