There was no way I could do Wedding Series blog posts without talking makeup!  If you haven’t already watched my two videos with Mally of Mally Beauty, make sure to watch them HERE & HERE . I had so much fun getting my makeup done by her, laughing and learning so much throughout the entire process. I wanted to share some of the tips and things she suggested to keep in mind for your wedding makeup. Whether you are planning on doing your own makeup like Mally did for her wedding, or if you are planning on hiring a makeup artist, these are some great tips for a gorgeous wedding look!

5 Tips For Wedding Makeup

1. Conceal a blemish by using a combination of first the concealer and setting it with a powder foundation. Avoid translucent powders that may leave a white cast that could show up in photos.

2. Highlight  the parts of your face you want to accentuate, especially above the cheekbones and around your eyes. Add some luminosity in the inner corner of your eyes to brighten up your face and open your eyes.

3. Blending is key. Always blend away any harsh lines to keep your makeup looking soft and romantic.

4. Waterproof mascara is important on your big day to prevent mascara from running when you cry. It will also help hold the curl of your eyelashes. Mally says its a must to add mascara to the bottom lashes as well, it will help complete the overall eye look.

5. Keep your eyes soft by only lining the upper and inner rim of eyes and avoiding a harsh black line on the bottom of your eyes.
