Baby Jogger City Mini GT Stroller Review

In my latest Its Mommys Life video upload, Benji does a review on the Baby Jogger City Mini GT Stroller. He really wanted to do a review on this stroller because after all the research he did before buying it and actually using it he loves it! And I have to agree with him that after using it for some time now, it really is as good as he raves about. So when he suggested to create this video for my Its Mommys Life channel I was 100 % for it since I love to share things that work for me and the family! Saftety

We love how safe this stroller is for our baby bears! It has an easy to reach and simple break system. One press of the grey button on the side lifted up will activate the breaks to keep the stroller in place and your baby safe from rolling away. Also, the seat belts are very secure and easy to use.

Setup/ Breakdown

Another great quality of the City Mini GT is the amazing ease of set up and break down of the stroller. It really is as simple as 1,2,3!

Steps for Set up: 1.) Pull up on the strap in the middle of the seat. 2.) Lift 3.) Go!

Breakdown: 1.) Press on the side tab. 2.) Pull apart by holding the handle 3.) It will click and  you can go!

Durability/Ease

One of the main reasons we purchased this is because of the durability, ruggedness and shock absorbency of the wheels on the City Mini GT Stroller. We like to go on walks around the neighborhood going from sidewalk to asphalt and the wheels are able to take on any of the terrain we encounter! In addition to all of that, these wheels will never go flat because they are made from foam instead of air like most tires.

Also while traveling, this stroller can hold up from being packed in the car to the plane with ease. Its lightweight enough for a Benji and myself which makes it effortless to transport, breakdown and set up especially during our most recent trip to California!

Features & Accessories

The Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller has an adjustable canopy that helps guard against UV rays. At the top of the canopy there are 2 small windows that allow you to see your child while strolling along. Also one of the windows can be covered for extra sun coverage.

There are a few things to note that Benji didn’t mention in the video.The first is that this stroller is great for use between people of different heights because you can adjust the handle bar to the appropriate height for the user! The next feature is the easy adjustable seat belt . You don’t have to re-thread the belt to adjust to your growing child. You can simply re-clip to his/her height as they grow.

The seat in the stroller can also be reclined almost completely flat making for a great place to change a diaper if needed or just to make for a more comfortable sleeping position for your baby. Once it’s reclined, the mesh backing is exposed that is great  for ventilation and to keep an eye on the baby bear!

Another great feature is the storage that is available. Benji pointed out the bottom storage under the seat, but there is also another large pocket behind the seat to stash away even more things!

There are tons of accessories that you can add on to the City Mini.  We decided to add on the Parent Console. This console is a great place to store things you want easily accessible while using the stroller, like drinks or snacks.

What’s also great about the City Mini GT stroller is that it can be used for smaller children as well. Just an add on a converter and a car seat. The car seat we used with Julianna and currently with Miya and Keira is the Chicco Key Fit 30. Using the converter makes it simple to use this stroller for an infant, because once the converter is attached, the car seat  locks tightly into place.
